Part-time WWE superstar Chris Jericho was mentioned during Triple H’s final promo during Monday night’s episode of WWE RAW.

During the promo, which was directed against Daniel Bryan and his “B+ player status” in the WWE, Triple H made a negative statement regarding WWE Hall of Famer Edge, superstar and former WWE Champion Rob Van Dam, and Jericho, saying that if any of them had been “the guy” for the WWE back in the mid-to-late 90’s, everyone in the WWE would be working for Ted Turner (and his rival company at the time, WCW).

Jericho heard this statement and took to Twitter to respond, saying,

According to PWMania, Jericho also sent out another tweet indicating that he is done with the WWE, saying,

Time to move on guys. Bye bye @wwe! Now time for more important things…any doubt that #DayInTheLife is the best @thebeatles song ever??”

Jericho has done this many times, where he has sent out tweets or instagram statuses claiming to be through with the WWE, only to return a few weeks later. Could this be a sign that Jericho will be returning to WWE television soon? He has finished his fall tour with rock band Fozzy, and per his Instagram account, is at home for the time being trying to stay “in shape” for “something” down the road.
