This week’s episode of WWE SmackDown was taped Tuesday night from the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina. The show will air in the United States on Friday.

WWE SmackDown

– Daniel Bryan kicks off the night with a promo. Kane comes out and Bryan says he’s breaking up Team Hell No and is now going to go after the Tag Team Championship with Randy Orton. Kane says that Orton and Bryan won’t get the job done, then Bryan asks if it’s because he’s the weakest link. Kane begins to choke Bryan, but Orton hits the ring to stop him. Orton tells Kane to not hurt his teammate, because it would hurt their team’s chances on Sunday. Bryan says he doesn’t need help when The Shield is shown on the Titantron laughing. They love the chaos going on between Team Hell No and Orton, and a main event match is made as Smackdown goes to commercial.

(1) Sheamus def. Antonio Cesaro. Cesaro comes out and says he’ll be hosting Sheamus’ Irish wake tonight after he defeats him, but Sheamus gets the win with a Brogue Kick. Sheamus was thrown into the ring steps during the match and suffered a somewhat noticeable laceration on his back.

– As Sheamus is leaving the ring, Damien Sandow attacks him from behind on the ramp.

(2) Heath Slater def. The Great Khali. 3MB distracts Khali and Slater gets the victory with a DDT.

(3) Alberto Del Rio/Chris Jericho def. *World Heavyweight Champion* Dolph Ziggler/Big E Langston. Del Rio gets the victory with a pinfall over Ziggler.

– Chris Jericho is shown talking about his upcoming match against CM Punk backstage, but Paul Heyman interrupts. Jericho says this match will exceed expectations before the segment ends.

(4) Aksana vs. *Divas Champion* Kaitlyn (No Contest).  Kaitlyn slaps the referee and Aksana leaves the ring. This one ends in a no contest.

(5) Curtis Axel def. *Intercontinental Champion* Wade Barrett. Barrett tries to get the match post-poned, saying they shouldn’t face each other until Sunday’s Payback PPV, but The Miz comes out and says everyone wants to see them fight tonight. Axel pins Barrett to get the victory, but then Axel gets dropped by the Miz’s Skull Crushing Finale post-match.

(6) Randy Orton/Kane/Daniel Bryan def. *Tag Team Champions* Seth Rollins/Roman Reigns/*United States Champion* Dean Ambrose. Rollins taps out to give Bryan the win.
