Different can be good. Bray Wyatt has been the Universal Champion since Crown Jewel, where he defeated Seth Rollins to bring the title to Smackdown. However, something looked odd as although The Fiend was the champion, he was carrying a red belt on the blue brand.

Not anymore.

Tonight on Smackdown, Wyatt used a magic trick during a segment of the Firefly Fun House to transform the title from red to blue. You can see a clip of that below:

Throughout the course of the show, it was announced that Daniel Bryan will challenge The Fiend for the Universal Championship at the 2019 Survivor Series pay-per-view.

Editor’s Opinion:

I figured that this would be coming sooner or later. It only makes sense to have the Universal Championship be the same color as the brand that it is on. They are doing it for both the Women’s and Tag Team Championships, so why wouldn’t they be doing it for the main Men’s Championship on the show?
