It might not be long before we see “Broken Brilliance” in WWE.

According to a report from Wrestling Observer Radio, the company is working out a deal with Impact Wrestling to have Matt Hardy use his “Broken” gimmick on their programming. There is currently a legal battle ongoing between Hardy and TNA as to who owns the rights to the character, which is why it has not been seen on WWE TV.

Hardy has shown hints at the “Broken” character during his latest run in WWE. While he still does the signs for “Version 1” and “Mattitude,” he still does the “Delete” sign, as well as uses words like “wonderful” and “delightful” in his promos.

Matt & Jeff Hardy make a shocking return to WWE: WrestleMania 33 (WWE Network Exclusive)

The Hardy Boyz made their return to WWE at WrestleMania 33, where they defeated Cesaro & Sheamus, Enzo & Cass and Gallows & Anderson to become the “Raw” Tag Team Champions.

Editor’s Note:

There is no way that we won’t see this gimmick in WWE. There is too much money to be made off of it, and knowing TNA’s history, their lawyers will get demolished by WWE in court.
