It had been previously reported that Leon White, also known as Vader, passed away a couple of weeks ago, at the age of 63.

WWE honored him by showing a graphic at the beginning of the June 25 episode of Raw, as well as posting a video tribute on their YouTube channel.

However, when a legend passes away, the company usually mentions them during the show and airs a video package during the live broadcast. Neither of these were the case for Vader.

Why was this?

According to a report from WrestingNews.coDave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that Vince McMahon instructed the announcers not to mention his name during the broadcast. It is unknown why this is the case at that moment, but it did not sit well with several WWE legends.

One of these was Road Warrior Animal, who posted the following message on his Facebook page:

Seriously WWE all you throw up is a picture of Vader no video package? A main event performer for most of his career.
WOW
# insulting
