The vessel has been brought back to life.

Tonight on “Raw,” Matt Hardy debuted a new gimmick and claimed that he had been “woken.”

It would appear that this is WWE’s version of the “broken” character that revolutionized and reinvented him during his time in TNA.

You can see a clip of the “awakening” below:

Matt Hardy vows to “delete” Bray Wyatt: Raw, Dec. 4, 2017

After losing a match to Bray Wyatt last week on “Raw,” Hardy began to show signs of his “broken” character; namely by beginning rapid “Delete” chants.

Over the course of the week, he would send out tweets that hinted at the character’s debut in WWE:

Matt and Jeff had been in a lengthy legal battle with Impact Wrestling and Anthem Sports over the rights to the “broken” gimmick. However, it would seem that everything has been settled, and the Hardys now own its intellectual property.

Editor’s Opinion:

YAAAAASSSSSS! It’s no secret that I am a huge subscriber to the “broken” brilliance, and I have no shame in admitting that I marked out more than I have in a long time tonight. It is so great to finally see this character in WWE, and I cannot think of a better first feud then with the insane Bray Wyatt. It will be simply “WONDERFUL!”
