It had been previously reported that Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks will be partnering together to start a new wrestling promotion, known as All Elite Wrestling. With The Young Bucks leaving NJPW, one of the burning questions that came to mind was whether AEW would have a relationship with them.

That was question was answered on a recent edition of Wrestling Observer RadioDave Meltzer reported that NJPW would be working with ROH and not AEW for the forseeable future.

You can see the announcement of the new promotion below:

The report continued that as recently as a few days ago, AEW thought that Kenny Omega could continue to work for both them and NJPW, bouncing between the two promotions. However, that doesn’t appear to be the case at the moment, as Omega has announced that he would be leaving NJPW.

We will continue to monitor the future of all promotions and will provide updates as they become available to us.

Editor’s Opinion:

Here’s a thought: why don’t NJPW, ROH and AEW all work together to create a legitimate global brand? WWE is so far ahead of everyone else with regards to talent and international recognition, that it would take a multitude of people working together to even come close to being competition.

What do you think of NJPW’s decision to not work with AEW going forward? Leave us a comment below, or post a comment on our Facebook page! Also, be sure to sign up for our newsletter and download our App from your favorite App Store!
