WATCH: Renee Young Says Goodbye To WWE

Why do you have to say goodbye? It had been previously reported that Renee Young would be leaving WWE to move on to other projects. Her last official event was a part of the SummerSlam kickoff show panel last Sunday.

WWE has posted a new video to its YouTube channel in which they show her farewell to the company. You can see the video in its entirety below:

In the video, footage is shown of her final broadcast, as well as the applause that she received afterwards. Her original audition video is shown as well, along with kind words from Michael Cole and others. Young then says her final goodbyes and walks out of the building for the final time.

It is unknown what her current plans are at this time. Her husband, Jon Moxley, is the current AEW champion, but nothing about her heading to the company has been mentioned.

Editor’s Opinion:

Immediately, everyone is going to assume that she’s going to AEW, but I wouldn’t say that’s a foregone conclusion. She is doing great things with her cooking channel and perhaps she just needed some time away from the world of commentary. No matter what she decides to do, she will always be remembered as a trailblazer in WWE and I can’t wait to see where she goes from here!
