Here comes the money.

Tonight on “Smackdown Live,” Shane McMahon opened the show to address the attack on General Manager Daniel Bryan last night on “Raw.” At the conclusion of his promo, the commissioner named himself the captain of his team in the traditional 5-on-5 “Survivor Series” match against “Raw” at the upcoming pay-per-view.

Bryan made his way to the red brand to apologize to Kurt Angle for McMahon’s actions on last week show, when the blue brand put “Raw” “Under Siege.”

It was announced last night that Angle would be the captain for “Team Raw.” Earlier today, he named Braun Strowman as another member of his squad.

Editor’s Note:

No surprises here, and I love every minute of it. There’s always something special when Shane McMahon gets in the ring, but adding Kurt Angle to the contest as well will definitely bring back the nostalgia for all wrestling fans. Who could forget their classic match at “King Of The Ring” in 2001? This match is starting to look better and better!
