Shaq vs. Cody Rhodes Tag Team Match Confirmed

It has been previously reported that former NBA superstar Shaquille O’Neal, otherwise known as Shaq, had challenged Cody Rhodes to a wrestling match. This was after Cody’s wife, Brandi, threw a glass of water in his face during an interview on AEW Dynamite.

Earlier this week, Shaq once again challenged Cody Rhodes to a match on his show, “Inside The NBA”. You can see a clip of that below:

Tonight on AEW Dynamite, the tag team match was confirmed as on the March 3 episode of Dynamite, Cody Rhodes and Red Velvet will team up to take on the team of Shaq and Jade Cargill.

Shaq was last seen in a wrestling ring during the 2016 WWE Andre “The Giant” Memorial battle royal at WrestleMania.

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again: I don’t want to see this. Don’t get me wrong, Shaq is one of the most entertaining personalities on television and everything that he does, both on his own show and the appearances that he makes, are absolutely hilarious. But, will he actually be able to do a wrestling match and not make it look ridiculous? I hope I’m wrong and I hope it goes really well. But, I just have this feeling that it won’t.
