It had been previously reported that Aleister Black had a knock on his door during a recent episode of Smackdown Live. This indicates that he will be having a match at Extreme Rules against a mystery opponent.

But who will that opponent be?

According to a tweet from Wrestlevotes, Cesaro was the the mystery opponent for Black. You can see the information below:

I’m told Cesaro was the original planned opponent for Aleister Black for Extreme Rules and in fact he may still be. This was however prior to Heyman & Bischoff coming back into the fold. No idea if they want something else instead. We will see.

Here’s what he had to say about who will be coming:

Black has not had a singles match on Smackdown Live since being split from Ricochet earlier this year.

Editor’s Opinion:

I’d be OK with Cesaro being the mystery opponent for the Dutch Destroyer. Cesaro has always had a ton of talent, and I’m glad that he is finally getting a chance to once again show the world what he can do as a singles star. I have a hunch that the crowd might not be OK with it, but we will see what happens.
