Raw Women’s Championship Match Set For Elimination Chamber 2019

The baddest woman on the planet gets to deal with a problem child. WWE has announced that at the 2019 Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, Ronda Rousey will be defending her Raw Women’s Championship against the leader of the Riott Squad, Ruby Riott.

This match came about after Rousey defeated both Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan on Raw this past week. You can see a clip of one of those matches below:

At the WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, Ruby Riott will dare to step into the squared circle against Ronda Rousey, with the Raw Women’s Championship on the line, in the hopes of reading the Riott act to the fierce titleholder before she can ever set foot onto The Grandest Stage of Them All.

On Monday Night Raw, Rousey was irate after her would-be WrestleMania opponent Becky Lynch refused to get checked out by WWE medical personnel and was suspended. The Baddest Woman on the Planet opted to take out her frustrations on The Riott Squad by making Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan tap out to the Armbar in back-to-back matchups.

Though it looked for a moment as if The Rowdy One may tangle with the third member of the devious trio as well, Riott backed down at the last second, claiming later that she had chosen to tend to her injured friends instead.

While we all know how this is going to play out, it still has the potential to be a great match! Ruby Riott is an excellent talent, and it will be nice to see her compete against one of the hottest commodities in WWE.
