You hate to see it. It had been previously reported that R-Truth had potentially suffered an injury during a match with Grayson Waller on the November 1 episode of NXT. Unfortunately, the news is as bad as was suspected.

Truth took to Twitter today to confirm that he had, in fact, suffered a torn quad and that it would require surgery to be repaired. You can see the video below:

Truth thanked fans for their prayers, support, and concern, and promised he would be back in action once he has healed.

It is unknown how long he will be out of action. We will continue to monitor the story and provide updates as they are available to us. In the meantime, we have Wrestling Rumors wish him a speedy recovery.

Editor’s Opinion:

I hate this for him. Truth has always been one of the most entertaining fixtures on WWE programming and is beloved by all wrestling fans. I certainly hope that this is not the end of his career, as I had hoped that he would have one more run with a true championship before it was over. We wish him nothing but the best and hope that he gets back to the ring sooner rather than later!
