Times are tough in WWE right now. According to a report from FightfulRaw Head Creative Writer Ryan Callahan has been fired by the company. This comes about 3 weeks after Road Dogg Jesse James resigned as head writer of Smackdown Live.

Details are a bit unclear at this point, but the reason for Callahan’s firing is because he had an issue with Dave Kapoor, who portrayed Rainjin Singh on TV for years. Kapoor claimed that Callahan took creative changes too personally and was difficult to work with, not setting a good example for the rest of the writing team.

As a result, Callahan was fired on the evening of Thursday, May 2.

Check out what he did for the final segment of his time with the company:

Callahan has worked on other notable television shows in the past, including “The Bachelor,” “The Bachelorette,” and “Monster In Laws.”

We will continue to monitor this story and provide more information as it becomes available to us.

Editor’s Thoughts:

Something doesn’t add up here, and I feel there is more to this than we know at this point.
