Bro. It had been previously reported that NXT superstar Matt Riddle would be making his way to the Smackdown Roster in the near future. Vignettes have been shown on recent episodes of the show, but an actual debut date has not been given, until today.

During tonight’s episode of the show, it was revealed that The Original Bro will be making his debut on Smackdown next week. Check out a video announcing his debut on the Blue Brand:

A former MMA fighter, Riddle has been a member of WWE and NXT since 2018. His last televised match was a Fight Pit Match against Timothy Thatcher on the May 27 episode of NXT, with Kurt Angle serving as the special guest referee.

Editor’s Opinion:

I cannot wait for this. He is an exceptional talent, with a fantastic skillset in the ring. He also does fantastic work cutting promos, and is going to make a major impact on Smackdown right away. I’m not sure who he will feud with first, but whoever it is, it’s going to be excellent. BRO!
