A dream match in eyes of many wrestling fans will become a reality in 16 days.

WWE has confirmed that following the events of “Monday Night Raw” this past week, John Cena will have his opportunity to seek revenge on AJ Styles. The two will go 1-on-1 at “Money In The Bank” on June 19, as was first reported on the company’s official Twitter account:

The leader of the “CeNation” made his return to “Raw” this past week, after suffering a torn rotator cuff in January of this year.

After delivering an empowering speech about the importance of Memorial Day, as well as stating that he is back with WWE, Styles came out to welcome Cena back to a roaring ovation from the crowd. This would bring out The Club, who would disapprove of “The Phenomenal One’s” change of attitude. After teasing an alliance, Styles would quickly turn his back on Cena, and after reuniting with The Club, would begin a ruthless beatdown of the face of the company.

Styles is coming off of a series of matches with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns, coming up on the losing end both at “Payback” and “Extreme Rules.”

Editor’s Note:

This is a match that fans have wanted to see for over 10 years. Both superstars have gained international recognition for their time inside and outside of the ring, and are simply incredible performers. I cannot wait to see what an incredible match these two legends will give us at “Money In The Bank!”
