Even royalty isn’t immune from the law.

According to a report from FOX 13 in Memphis, Tennessee, Brian Christopher, the son of WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler, was arrested last night and charged with theft.

They were taken into custody from the Hampton Inn, after Christopher and his friend Terry Teague, used a company credit card to stay in the hotel. However, the card did not have enough money on it, according to the arrest affidavit.

Christopher, whose real name is Brian Lawler, competed in WWE as “Grandmaster Sexay.” Along with his partner “Scotty 2 Hotty” and Rikishi, the group was known as Too Cool and were a major part of the Attitude Era.

They reunited on Raw in 2014 for one night only, which you can see below:

We will continue to monitor this story and provide any updates as they become available to us.

Editor’s Opinion:

Hopefully this ends up as simply being a misunderstanding, and everyone can get on with their lives sooner rather than later.
