It is always great to see injured WWE superstars make their return to the ring. Not just because it means that they have recovered, but it also allows the opportunity for new storylines to be generated and fresh matchups to occur.

Tonight on RAW, former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal made his return to action after being initially injured over a year ago. He defeated Akira Tozawa in somewhat of a squash match to announce his return.

Check out some comments following his return:

The Modern-Day Maharaja spent 6 months as WWE Champion in 2017. He had been out of action due to a knee injury.

Editor’s Opinion:

This is outstanding news! I was a big fan of Mahal’s title reign in 2017 and always thought that he did a good job as WWE Champion. There were many people who disagreed with me and thought that he didn’t deserve the opportunity to be the face of the company, but I thought that he did a good job as a champion. Tonight, Mahal looked stronger and better than ever. I’m glad he’s back!
