Former Impact Wrestling Star Debuts at NXT Tapings

Another former TNA superstar is trying her hand in the big leagues.

During the recent set of NXT tapings, Thea Trinidad made her official debut with the promotion, by observing a match between Kassius Ohno and Andrade “Cien” Almas. She made sultry faces towards Almas during the match.

Trinidad is most known for her work as Rosita in TNA. Along with her cousin, Sarita, they would win the Knockouts Tag Team Championships from Angelina Love and Winter in 2011. She would use this to say that a “Mexican Takeover” of TNA was coming.

Trinidad is not new to NXT, however, as she lost to Asuka on the October 26, 2016 episode of the show.

It should also be noted that Trinidad will be portraying AJ Lee, in the upcoming film “Fighting with My Family.”

I remember being quite impressed with Rosita when I watched TNA a few years ago. The Knockouts division was always a very strong part of the company, as the wrestlers were talented in-ring performers. I’m excited to see what she can do in NXT!
