First NXT Women’s North American Champion Crowned At Battleground

History has been made. Tonight at NXT Battleground 2024, six women competed in a ladder match for the opportunity to be the inaugural Women’s North American champion. But who would walk out with the championship?

Kelani Jordan outlasted Sol Ruca, Michin, Fallon Henley, Jaida Parker, and Lash Legend to win the championship.

The match commenced with an explosive brawl, as Jordan launched herself off the top rope, delivering a missile dropkick. Lash seized control, but Jordan countered with a twisting dive to the floor. Ruca followed suit, diving off the apron, while Fallon laid her out with a vicious kick. Parker then executed a butt splash off a ladder onto Jordan, who was precariously positioned on a ladder in the corner. Ruca hit a German suplex, but Lash intervened to prevent Mia from climbing the ladder.

Chaos ensued as all competitors engaged in a frenzied brawl atop the ladders. In a shocking moment, everyone collectively lifted Lash and tossed her to the floor, where she landed hard on a ladder. Jordan then soared from the top rope, executing a split-legged moonsault onto Parker, before retrieving the championship title.
