You hate to see it. Eddie Kingston sent a message out via Twitter that he has tested positive for COVID-19 and will miss this weekend’s NJPW Strong tapings.

You can see the tweet below:

Kingston was scheduled to team with Homicide and Wheeler Yuta to take on Jay White and The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows) at Sunday’s NJPW Strong Autumn Action tapings in Las Vegas.

It is unknown if this will affect his status for Dynamite or Rampage this coming week.

Kingston defeated Tomohiro Ishii in a singles match at the recent All Out pay-per-view. The finish came when Kingston avoided another spinning backfist and hit a northern lights bomb for the pin.

Editor’s Opinion:

This sucks. Having had COVID before, I can tell you that it is no joke and knocks you out of commission in many different ways. We certainly wish him a speedy recovery and hope he returns to normal as soon as possible! He’s an incredible performer and has been doing great things since his debut in AEW. Get well soon!
