He knows how to make an entrance. It’s no secret that AEW has put a lot of effort into its production value and when you combine that with a major that is returning for the company on Dynamite, it makes for a great moment of television. These two elements were in tandem tonight as Cody made his return to the company during tonight’s show, supporting a new look.

It included a darker presentation, with darker clothes and his hair being dyed black as opposed to blonde. You can check out the return below:

Cody had been out of action since the August 22 edition of Dynamite, when he lost the TNT Championship to Brodie Lee in quick fashion. He was written off of television to help promote his new show “Go Big Show” which will be airing on TBS later this fall.

Editor’s Opinion:

I’m digging this new look of Cody and I hope that he comes back more aggressively than ever. However, I do hope that he eventually ends up being a heel, because that is when I think he does his best work. He could be a fantastic “bad guy” for AEW, however, for now, I’m just glad to see him back!
