You didn’t really think he was leaving forever, did you?

According to a report from WrestlingInc, Chris Jericho has been advertised for live events in Tokyo, Japan on June 30 and July 1. This will be his first appearances with the company since being written off of TV by Kevin Owens on the May 2 episode of “Smackdown Live.” In the main event of the show, Owens defeated “Y2J” to capture the United States championship.

Jericho has been written off of television in order to tour with his band, “Fozzy.” They will be making appearances around the country all summer.

Owens is currently slated to defend the United States championship against AJ Styles upcoming at “Backlash.”

Editor’s Note:

While we knew that Jericho would be leaving to tour with his band, I didn’t think that he would be back so quickly. One thing that I’ve always loved about “Y2J” is that he loves his fans, and will do everything in his power to keep them happy. He’s worked several random live dates in the past, and seems to be keeping that trend going. And to those of you who have a problem with that…YOU JUST MADE THE LIST!
