One of the biggest stories of this past week was the rumors that had been circulating that Roman Reigns would not be competing at WrestleMania 36, by his own choice, due to concerns with the Coronavirus pandemic and how that would affect his health.

The Big Dog took to Instagram today, confirming the news that he pulled out of WrestleMania will not be competing this year. You can see the 6-minute video that he made below:

Throughout the video, Reigns does acknowledge the fact that he is pulling out of the show and expresses his disappointment to his fans that he won’t be competing this year.  He also says that we need to take this time to not only focus on the outside, but also on the inside and learn to be nice to one other.

This is what we could have seen this year:

Editor’s Opinion:

This is great, and I’m so glad that The Big Dog took to social media to address the situation. I would never blame a person for choosing their health and family over anything, and while it’s disappointing that we will not see him perform this year, I don’t blame him one bit. It’s no secret that he is still having some health issues, due to his recent battle with leukemia, and taking all of the necessary precautions are completely appropriate during this time.
