It had been previously reported that AEW will be hosting an Empty Arena, No Holds Barred match on an upcoming episode of Dynamite. Jon Moxley will be defending his title against Jake Hager on the April 15 episode of the show.

According to the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, AEW taped for multiple days last week, including this match. The reason for this is due to the recent stay-at-home orders that have been announced by both Florida and Georgia, which is where the company has been having their recent empty arena shows.

Check out the buildup for the contest:

Both AEW and WWE are continuing to work on plans for their shows in the near future, as it is unknown how long schedules will have to be adjusted, due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Editor’s Opinion:

This was smart planning by AEW. The reports on how long our social distancing will continue seem to change almost every day and it’s good for everyone in the professional wrestling business to be prepared for this to go into the summer months. We’ll see how each company handles it going forward.
