It had been previously reported that Braun Strowman suffered an injury during his match with Roman Reigns at the recent “Payback” pay-per-view, and will have to have minor surgery on his arm.

According to a report from Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE has no idea how long Strowman will be out, as they don’t know the full extend of the injury.

Also, it should be noted that Strowman was scheduled to face Reigns in a rematch at the upcoming “Extreme Rules” pay-per-view, as well as face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at the “Great Balls of Fire” pay-per-view in July. It is unknown what the status of each of these matches is at the current time.

On this past week’s episode of “Raw,” Reigns attacked Strowman as a way to write him off of TV to heal his injuries.

Roman Reigns attacks Braun Strowman: Raw, May 8, 2017

Editor’s Note:

This sucks. The big man has absolutely been killing it for most of 2017, and it could be argued that his feud with Reigns is one of the most entertaining ones of the year thus far. Hopefully this surgery will not be too bad, and we can see him back sooner rather than later.
