Ever since his return to WWE programming in a couple of months ago, Goldberg has re-energized both his career, as well as the interest in him by the WWE Universe.

This energy carried him into his match with Brock Lesnar at this year’s “Survivor Series,” where he was able to defeat “The Beast” in under 2 minutes.

It had been previously announced that Goldberg will enter the 2017 “Royal Rumble” match in San Antonio, Texas, along with Lesnar, as they both compete for an opportunity to be in the main event of WrestleMania. In order to do this, they will need to make promotional appearances to build hype for their potential clash on January 29, 2017.

Although it was announced that Goldberg will be appearing on the January 2 episode of “Monday Night Raw,” the Q Arena in Cleveland, Ohio, is promoting an appearance by “The Man” on the January 23 edition of “Raw.”

Editor’s Note:

As previously mentioned, I am looking forward to seeing what WWE does with Goldberg in 2017. I feel that his return has garnered a positive response from the fans, and if he is booked correctly, this run could end up being an amazing way to end his career.
