According to a report from Wrestling Inc., WWE superstar Andrade had requested his release from the company. This is after he has not been seen on WWE programming since October of 2020.
The former NXT Champion and United States Champion last appeared on Raw at the time of the WWE Draft, but was written off of television by being attacked by The Fiend, to undergo a minor medical procedure. He was scheduled to be out of action for around a month, but has not been seen since. It had been previously reported that Vince McMahon is not high on either him or Aleister Black, which explains their lack of television time.
In an update to this story, F4WOnline is reporting that WWE has denied Andrade’s request for a release.
Check out what happened the last time that we saw Andrade on television:

Editor’s Opinion:
I don’t blame him one bit for asking for his release. I’ve always felt that he has had a lot of potential, but has never been used properly since leaving NXT. Perhaps it has something to do with Zelina Vega, but for some reason, WWE doesn’t see anything in him and I don’t get it. Perhaps a move back to the black and gold brand would be the best thing for him?
