It had been previously reported that former WWE superstar Alberto Del Rio was arrested back in May of this year, on charges of sexual assault, as well as aggravated kidnapping. A decision has been made in the case, and he has been indicted on charges of aggravated kidnapping in a San Antonio Court.

According to a report from PW Insider, Del Rio was indicted on Thursday of this week. Court records list the primary charge as aggravated kidnapping; therefore it is unknown whether the sexual assault charge resulted in an indictment as well. Although a trial date has not yet been set, he was slated to be officially arraigned yesterday, according to court records.

According to FOX San Antonio, Del Rio, real name Jose A. Rodriguez Chucuan, is accused of sexually assaulting a woman and injuring her. The unnamed woman says that Del Rio sexually assaulted her, with her injuries being photographed. He is also accused of slapping her in the head and then doing it again when she asked why he was doing it in the first place. Del Rio is also accused of making her wear a dress and dance for him. When she said no, Del Rio threatened to take her son and “drop him in the middle of the road somewhere”. PW Insider reports that Del Rio has been released on $5,000 bond.

Editor’s Opinion:

This guy is a disgrace and should never be allowed to compete for a wrestling promotion again. I hope that the courts do justice and make him pay for the awful things that he has done.
