What is it with all these wrestlers getting into incidents outside of the squared circle? Is all the drama of professional wrestling not enough?

Last week, we had Tommy Dreamer suffer a scratched cornea at the hands–or paws–of his dog. But this one could’ve had a far more devastating impact than just an accident with a dog could ever have.

Former WWE star Ricardo Rodriguez was driving his SUV through a neighborhood with a passenger when a gunshot rang out. The shot subsequently went through the back window of the automobile, shattering it and leaving Rodriguez shocked and angry.

Fortunately for him, no one was hurt in the incident. Nothing was found within the car itself, and Rodriguez is assuming that the shot was nothing more than a kid in the neighborhood firing off a BB gun.

Since being released from the WWE in 2014, Rodriguez has been wrestling on the independent circuit under the name Chimaera. He also has had an ongoing stint in Punjab, India, training wrestlers in The Great Khali’s wrestling school there, known as Continental Wrestling Entertainment. So while he is no longer in the WWE, it looks like he has done a great deal of work in preparing future wrestlers worldwide to get to the big show.
