Wrestling Rumors confirmed on July 28th that the WWE’s October PPV would have its name changed from Over The Limit to Battleground.

Speculation ran rampant over the possibility of the War Games, a two ring steel cage match that was made famous in WCW, returning at the PPV.

There is no official word on whether that match will take place, but a seating chart of The First Niagara Center, which is the location of the event, would indicate that it won’t.

As presented in the chart, the building will be set up to hold one ring, not two.

Unless there are changes made prior to tickets going on sale to the public this upcoming Saturday (August 3rd), there will be no War Games match on the card, unless it takes place in just one ring.

WWE Battleground will emanate live from the First Niagara Center in Buffalo on Sunday, October 6th.
