Update: Finn Balor Not Wearing Body Paint on Regular Basis After All

One of the highlights of “NXT: R Evolution” this past Thursday was the entrance of one Finn Balor before his tag team match with The Ascension.

Deck out in war body paint, Balor teamed with Hideo Itami for the victory at the big event.

If you’re expecting Balor to be wearing paint on a regular basis, though, think again.

At the recent NXT tapings, the 33-year-old worked without his now infamous look.

PWInsider.com recently reported that because of how successful his “NXT: R Evolution” appearance was, WWE wanted the paint to be a recurring thing for his character.

It doesn’t appear that will be the case based on what we’ve heard from the tapings.

Editor’s Note

It’s common sense. With NXT taping four shows at a time, it would be extremely difficult for Balor to repair his paint job between matches. I would assume that it will only be brought out for special events and/or pay-per-views.
