According to a report by PWInsider.com, Konnor and Viktor of The Ascension are both backstage at “Monday Night Raw” tonight and may be making their main roster debut.

There is no word yet on whether that will be the case. They could always be used in a dark match before the show airs live.

The Ascension are the longest-reigning NXT Tag Team Champions in history, having held the belt for a record 364 days.

They dropped the titles to “Lucha Dragons” Kalisto and Sin Cara at “NXT Takeover: Fatal 4-Way” on Sept. 12.

Merchandise is slowly being created for the tandem, which could be taken as a subtle hint that they’ll be coming up from developmental sooner rather than later.

Rey Mysterio is also backstage and could be appearing on the show as well.

Editor’s Note

I’ve only been calling for their debut for the better part of 2014. I’m not counting my chickens before they hatch, but boy would it be nice for a new face in a sparse tag team division.
