Bray Wyatt is a backwoods cult leader with a crazy head of hair, bushy beard included. This is what people think of when they think of Bray Wyatt. However, this was not always the case, because Bray Wyatt was not always Bray Wyatt. He used to be Husky Harris.

Before that, he used to be Windham Rotunda, and he still is to be fair since that’s his real name. When he debuted in NXT though, he was known as Husky Harris. Now, back in the day NXT wasn’t the WWE’s farm league. Instead, it was a reality show about wrestlers trying to win and secure a spot on the WWE roster, as well as a title shot.

Harris was on the second season, and this is the video that was used to introduce him to the WWE audience. Look at the future Bray Wyatt, with semi-short hair and a scruffy little beard. He’s just a dude, albeit one with a family lineage in wrestling. Harris did not win, as he was eliminated fifth out of eight competitors (Titus O’Neill was actually the first eliminated). A guy named Kaval won. Harris ended up in The Nexus, and then he became Wyatt, and the rest is history.
