As previously reported, Hulk Hogan stated in a recent interview heading into Crown Jewel that he has been talking to Vince McMahon about a return to the ring after being absent from a WWE ring since SummerSlam 2006. Not only is Hogan serious about returning to WrestleMania, but he wants his opponent to be the 74-year-old WWE Chairman, Vince McMahon.

On the 400th episode of the Pancakes and Powerslams Show, former WCW President Eric Bischoff weighed in on Hogan’s possible in-ring return at WrestleMania, Bischoff also jokingly stated that he is interested in being in the corner of Hogan during the match.

“I think the fans would probably like to see perhaps Hulk [Hogan] and Undertaker. I know Hogan would probably, more than anything, want it to be Vince McMahon. If he’s gonna work a match with Vince McMahon, I want to work Hulk’s corner. Me and Vince gotta little bit of business to take care of,” said Bischoff.

Bischoff stated that he was kidding about the Vince reference, but did share more thoughts on Hogan possibly coming back to the ring.

“I would want whatever he would want,” Bischoff stated. “Again, a guy with a career like Hulk Hogan, and if he’s able to, God bless him if that’s what he wants to do, and [if] he’s able to make that happen, I’d be the second happiest person in Florida that night. But, it’s hard for me to imagine that he’ll be able to get ready for something like that. But, who knows, he’s done it before.”

During our conversation about Hogan, I mentioned that Cesaro would be a really good person to compete against Hogan because his athleticism could counter Hogan’s physical limitations. Even if Hogan won at WrestleMania, it would still be one of Cesaro’s biggest moments in his pro wrestling career. Eric responded regarding this scenario, “everybody wins.”
