As we previously reported, the Carter family is keen on letting it be known that TNA is not up for sale. They went as far to send out a memo to TNA employees on the matter. Even though the memo refuted these rumors, F4WOnline is reporting that Janice Carter was lying. The website is reporting that multiple sources within TNA have stated that negotiations are ongoing with potential buyers. However, many of the potential buyers that have been rumored like Smashing Pumpkins’ frontman Billy Corgan are not involved in the negotiations.

The report goes on to state that WWE officials are following the situation very closely. One source was even quoted as stating, “more so than people would ever imagine.” However, this is not because WWE would like to buy TNA but because the company would like to know who is in on buying the company in order to see what the status of some TNA talents would be. Two talents that WWE specifically wants to know the status on is Hulk Hogan and Sting.
