Multiple sources are reporting that WWE has hired former TNA referee Rudy Charles. At the NXT tapings on July 11th, he worked some of the matches. With his hiring by WWE, Charles has moved from his previous home in Tennessee to Florida, which is the home of the new WWE Performance Center that officially opened on July 11th. The new Performance Center is just across the street from Full Sail University, where NXT is taped.

Charles is one of the few people that was with TNA during its start in 2002. His wrestling debut with the company occurred on January 29, 2009 when he, and fellow referee Andrew Thomas, were placed in a handicap match against Booker T. In July of 2009, Charles left the company. Despite his leave from the company, Charles appeared on the 2011 Thanksgiving edition of Impact Wrestling, and was featured in segments throughout the night.

Charles has tweets that lead up to his WWE debut at NXT, where he reveals that he moved to Orlando on June 30th. Those tweets can be seen here.
