Official “WWE 2K15” Roster Reveal, Early MyCareer Details

The day before the “SummerSlam” pay-per-view, during the SummerSlam Confidential Panel, the official roster for the “WWE 2K15” video game was revealed. “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and Renee Young served as the hosts for the roster reveal. The star-studded panel included John Cena, Sting, Hulk Hogan, Cesaro, Roman Reigns, and Sheamus.

Through a stream on Twitch.Tv, on IGN’s account, the full “WWE 2K15” roster goes as follows, being revealed in three stages:

UPDATE: WWE.com has picked up on the “WWE 2K15” roster, releasing 52 names in total. Some names were not revealed during the panel, including Alberto Del Rio, Booker T, Cameron, Cody Rhodes, Curtis Axel, Kane, Kevin Nash, Mark Henry, Natalya, Ric Flair, Ryback, Santino Marella, and Summer Rae.

Though, it appears only part of the roster has been revealed. Vincent Ingenito, an Associate Editor at IGN, tweeted the following:

Also, during the panel, some of the first details on the MyCareer mode were revealed. In the mode, the player will start out in NXT, having to make his or her way up the ranks, challenging various WWE developmental stars. Afterwards, the user will be ready for “Monday Night Raw” and “Smackdown,” making the main WWE roster.

As always, prior to and after the game is out, various DLC packs will be released. The DLC packs usually contain more WWE Superstars, Divas, and various legends. Part of the DLC will include new rivalries for the Showcase Mode, one of the biggest single player modes of the game.
