On Sunday, Nov. 23, 2014, the annual “Survivor Series” pay-per-view was broadcast live from St. Louis, Missouri, at the Scottrade Center. At the event, a Fatal 4 Way match was the first match on the pay-per-view portion of the show. WWE Tag Team Champions Stardust and Goldust faced competition from The Usos, Los Matadores, and Damien Mizdow and The Miz.

In the end, it would be Mizdow and The Miz becoming the new WWE Tag Team Champions. Mizdow pinned Goldust, who was previously hit with a splash from the top rope by Jimmy Uso. Before Mizdow picked up the victory for his team, it would be Miz who tagged him in, after he had tagged Jimmy Uso prior to his splash. The two would celebrate their win, with The Miz holding both of the tag team titles. As Miz threw his arms up, the crowd booed. Though, when Mizdow put his arms up, the crowd cheered.

For Damien Sandow, now known as Mizdow, it is his first taste of championship gold in WWE. Miz, on the other hand, is now a four-time WWE Tag Team Champion. He held the belt three previous times with John Morrison, Big Show, and John Cena. Additionally, Miz was a two-time World Tag Team Champion, with both Morrison and Show.
