The show starts off with Michael Cole interviewing WWE COO Triple H. “The King of Kings” begins by ripping the Big Show for his previous actions against “The Authority.” He goes on to say six employees were fired due to Big Show being able to appear via satellite on Monday Night Raw. Continuing, “HHH” says Show is still fired and at this time, he cannot comment on the lawsuit. This went on until Daniel Bryan came out to chase down Hunter and end the interview. The segment ends with the two engaging in a staredown.

It appears that the main event for the night will be Daniel Bryan, Cody Rhodes, Goldust, and The Miz vs. Randy Orton and The Shield.

 1) The Usos def. Erick Rowan and Luke Harper (w/Bray Wyatt) via pinfall- The Miz is ringside for the match as well as Bray Wyatt as he supports his Wyatt family members. The Usos end up picking up a pinfall victory because Miz attacked Bray Wyatt. This caused Rowan to leave the ring and chase down Miz. With Harper being the only one left in the ring, The Usos were able to pick up an easy victory.

2) AJ Lee def. Nikki Bella via submission- The Divas Champion obtains the victory utilizing her Black Widow submission hold.

3) Los Matadores (w/ El Torito) def. Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre (w/ Jinder Mahal)– After the match, Los Matadores took hold of Jinder Mahal in order for El Torito to beat him down. While this went on, Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro of The Real Americans watched from the entrance ramp. Zeb Colter went on to cut a promo stating that his team of Cesaro and Swagger will win at Hell in a Cell. This may signify that a match involving Los Matadores and The Real Americans will be announced for the pay-per-view.

4) Ryback and Paul Heyman def. “CM Skunk-“ The man portraying “CM Skunk” was a local wrestler who would face Ryback and Heyman in a handicap match. The wrestler had a noticeably small build and sported a blonde mohawk. His identity is unknown at this time. After the match, Heyman focuses on the actual CM Punk as he cut a quick promo on how he and Ryback will reign supreme at Hell in a Cell.

Next, Big E. Langston meets with Vickie Guerrero to tell the Smackdown General Manager that he is ready for the main event. However, she brushes him off. He continues by saying that he is not a Brad Maddox, which causes Vickie to give in. Langston will take The Miz’s spot in the main event.

Alberto Del Rio enters the ring next and begins to talk about how he will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against John Cena at Hell in a Cell.

5) Fandango vs. The Great Khali ends in a no contest– The end result is a no contest because Natalya and Summer Rae began to brawl outside the ring while the match was ongoing. Khali lands a big chop to Fandango to end the segment.

6) Daniel Bryan/ *WWE Tag Team Champions* Cody Rhodes & Goldust / Big E. Langston def. Randy Orton / The Shield. The babyface team gets the victory after Langston stops an RKO, allowing Bryan to pick up the pin.
