With the 2015 “Royal Rumble” pay-per-view almost a week away, occurring on Jan. 25 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, some predictions for the event are beginning to roll in. In a recent blog on his website, JRsBarBq.comWWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross gave his thoughts on who he thinks will win the 2015 Royal Rumble match, as of Jan. 16.

Ross, who debunked rumors of him potentially working as a commentator for “Lucha Underground,” said his current gut pick for the year’s Royal Rumble match is Daniel Bryan:

“I’ve waffled on the winner of the Rumble match itself several times, perhaps I should have been a professional politician, but my latest ‘gut feeling’ is that Daniel Bryan takes home the WM31 main event spot.

Could it be Bryan vs. Rollins or even Lesnar at WM31?”

Additionally Ross gave his thoughts on the rumored Bray Wyatt vs. The Undertaker match for WrestleMania 31:

“If the rumors of Undertaker returning to WM31 to face Bray Wyatt are true, then it helps Wyatt amazingly well even if Bray loses. I have no info verifying his match but it’s making the rounds online.”

Be sure to read the entire blog post, here. Ross also hits on Vince McMahon’s recent “brass ring” comments, upcoming guests on his podcast such as Mark Madden, and much more.

Editor’s Note

I’m really torn between Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan as to who will win the 2015 Royal Rumble.
