As we previously reported yesterday, Feb. 11, Antonio Cesaro had his ring name changed to simply “Cesaro,” dropping the Antonio. It appears that Cesaro is not the only WWE Superstar to undergo a subtle change to his name as WWE.com is now showcasing Big E Langston as simply “Big E.”

Big E debuted on WWE programming in December of 2012, working as the muscle for Dolph Ziggler and his then on-screen girlfriend and current Divas Champion AJ Lee. Big E went on to have his debut match at WrestleMania 29 in which he and Ziggler were defeated by Team Hell No in a match for the WWE Tag Team Championship.

In November of 2013, shortly after a babyface turn, Big E won the WWE Intercontinental Championship in a match with then champion Curtis Axel on “Monday Night Raw.” Langston has held the title since then, successfully defending it at both the Survivor Series and the Tables Ladders & Chairs pay-per-views.

While Big E did not defend his title at the Royal Rumble, it appears he may defend it down the road, possibly at Elimination Chamber. At the latest “WWE Smackdown” tapings,  a number-one contender for the belt was named. (Warning: Previous link contains *spoilers.*)
