On Jan. 11, 2014 WWE superstar Rob Van Dam will be appearing at WWE Hall of Famer Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling promotion in Houston, Texas at the Clear Lake Sports and Recreation Complex. RVD will also be apart of a special VIP meet and greet that same night.

Van Dam’s appearance at Booker T’s promotion may very well be a tune-up for Van Dam’s return to WWE for WrestleMania season, according to PWInsider. However, it is unclear if he will wrestle at the event. The website is reporting that current plans call for RVD to return at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view for WrestleMania season.

The website also reports that WWE wanted to lock up Van Dam through the Extreme Rules pay-per-view, but the timeframe exceeds 90 days, which the two sides previously agreed to. RVD was last seen on WWE programming in early October at the inaugural WWE Battleground pay-per-view.
