According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Tyson Kidd is scheduled to return to WWE television around September. The former WWE Tag Team Champion has been out of action since January of 2013 after he suffered a torn knee meniscus. Despite his injury, he still appeared at the May 27 “Bret Hart Appreciation Night” ceremony.

Kidd’s last WWE pay-per-view appearance was at Survivor Series, where he was victorious in a ten man tag team elimination match. The former World Tag Team Champion had a mini-feud with Tensai leading up to 2012’s Money in the Bank. Kidd qualified for the World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank ladder match, but was not victorious as Dolph Ziggler took the briefcase.
