John Cena vs. Shinsuke Nakamura: SmackDown LIVE, Aug. 1, 2017
According to Cageside Seats, WWE changed the original finish of the Shinsuke Nakamura vs. John Cena match from Tuesday’s SmackDown.
Originally, Baron Corbin was going to run in and cost John Cena the match, which would lead to a match between the MITB briefcase holder and the former 16-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion at SummerSlam. Instead, WWE decided to have Nakamura win clean.
