Current WWE Universal Champion Bill Goldberg has become quite a polarizing figure ever since it was made clear that the plan was for him to defeat Kevin Owens at Fastlane. But, if you’re the kind of person that doesn’t like the “part-timers” hogging the top spots, then we have some good news for you.

According to Wrestling Inc, Goldberg only has two dates left on his current WWE contract, one of which is, of course, WrestleMania 33, where he’ll defend his newly won title against Brock Lesnar. So, the ex-WCW megastar could retire after April 2.

Last November, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that Goldberg had signed a three pay-per-view deal following his match with Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series. As of this writing, he’s done two out of the three — Fastlane and Royal Rumble — so unless he signs yet another extension, he’ll be done as an in-ring performer in just a few weeks.
