Back in April, ex-WWE Intercontinental and Women’s Champion Chyna passed away at the age of 46, and her passing raised a question that’s been asked for the last several years: will she ever get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame?

While speaking with Newsweek about WWE’s upcoming United Kingdom Championship tournament, Triple H, who is now the company’s second in command behind Vince McMahon, spoke about Chyna’s chances of getting into the WWE Hall of Fame.

“I think it’s been brought up. But there’s a lot of people in a long line that deserve to be in the Hall of Fame that will be in the Hall of Fame over time. That’s a conversation that will happen. We’ll see where it goes. But there are a lot of people and you can only put so many people in per year. I don’t think her passing signifies any change of her accomplishments. Her accomplishments are documented and were massive in our industry. Nothing has changed. She’s a part of the Hall of Fame conversation, but she would have been anyway.”

Chyna was blackballed by WWE after she left the company in 2001, and while she attempted to reach out to both Vince McMahon and Triple H, they were never interested in bringing her back to the company.

When Triple H appeared on Steve Austin’s podcast, he pretty much said that, while Chyna did accomplish some great things during her run, her actions and career choices following her exit from the company were preventing her from being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Over the summer, Sean Waltman, better known to WWE fans as X-Pac, also appeared on the Steve Austin Show podcast, and he said that WWE wanted Chyna to clean up her life before they inducted her in the Hall of Fame. But, she passed away before she was able to do so.

Do you think Chyna deserves to be in the WWE Hall of Fame? If so, will she be inducted in 2017? Let us know in the comments, and make sure to check out our official Facebook page for the latest news and rumors.
